The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2012 for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service Officers commencing from 14th July 2012.
Eligibility:
- Age : Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1st August 2012. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree of any recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.
- Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts permissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible, will be as (i) General Category - 4 attempts, (ii) OBC - 7 attempts (iii) SC/ST - No limit
Fee: Candidates applying (excepting
Female/SC/ST/PH candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are
required to pay a fee of Rs.100/- either by depositing the money in
any Branch of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI,
State Bank of Bikaner & Jaipur/ State Bank of Hyderabad/ State Bank

UPSC Combined Medical Services Examination 2012 : Last date 23/04/2012

COMBINED MEDICAL SERVICES EXAMINATION 2012
The Union Public Service commission will hold the Combined Medical Services Examination 2012 on 17 June, 2012. The examination will be held at various centers across the country.
- Posts : 702 posts approx.
- Age Limit : Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st January, 2012. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.
- A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of final MBBS Examination.Fee : Rs. 100/- to be paid iin any branch of SBI by cash or by usinf Net Banking facility of SBI, SBBJ, SBH, SBM, SBP SBT or using Visa/ Master Credit / Debit Card. SC/ST/PH/Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.
